Língzhī is the name for one form of the mushroom Ganoderma lucidum (other names: Chi zhi, Hong ling zhi, Linh chi, Ling chih, Ling qi, Ling zhi, Ling zhi cao, Lucid ganoderma, Mannentake, Rokkaku reishi, Young ji, Zi zhi), and its close relative Ganoderma tsugae, which grows in the northern Eastern Hemlock forests.
